Eurovisong Contest
-Eurovisong Contest is and online music contest following Eurovision Song Contest style. Each edition will have its own timetable.
-All fifty countries (see Countries section) are elegible to entry the contest should they wish to do it.
-If more than 24 countries confirm their participation a semi final will be held. The ten best scoring countries from the previous edition (including the winner) will advance automatically onto the final. The remaining will compete in a semifinal. The number of countries advancing to the final may vary.
THEHEAD OF DELEGATION
-Everyone is welcome to join Eurovisong Contest regarding its location.
-You can represent a country that is not your own. Though this may be difficult for you unless you have a wide knowledge about the country music scene.
-If you fail to send your entry on time (without any notice) your country will be set free for others to take it.
-If you fail to vote on time your country will be disqualified for the current edition. If you fail to vote two editions in a row you will lose your delegation as welll.
-As Head of Delegation you are entitled to your own space in the web. So it you have any news, comments, rumours, complaints... Send us by email and we will publish everything on the news section. We want this to be as real as possible and it will always be good buzz for your entry.
Rules
THECONTEST
-The artist of your entry must have to be born in the country you are representing OR the parents (at least one) were born in that country. In the event of a duet or a group 50% needs to be from the country they are representing.
-The following countries can borrow artist from other countries:
ANDORRA can borrow from Spain.
CYPRUS can borrow from Greece.
MONACO can borrow from France.
LUXEMBOURG can borrow from France or Belgium.
LIECHTENSTEIN can borrow from Austria or Switzerland.
MONTENEGRO can borrow from Serbia.
SAN MARINO can borrow from Italy.
-The song can be in any language. It mustn´t be longer that 5:30 minutes.
-Covers, previous Eurovision Song Contest entries or previous Eurovisong Contest entries are not allowed.
-One artist can only represent one country in one edition.
THEENTRIES
-Everyone must vote in the final or the will face disqualification. If a semifinal is held the countries that did not advance to the final are not obliged to vote though they are most welcome to do so.
-You can not vote for your own song. The voting goes as ESC 12, 10, 8 and 7-1. In the final you MUST send 3 reserves in case disqualifications happen.
-There will be a deadline each edition to vote. To legitimate your votes you must send and email to eurovisongcontest@gmail.com.
-The winner of each edition will be automatically the host for the next edition and they will choose venue and host. They can also work with the manager if they want to introduce something new in the contest.
